A Sonnet About Hats: Conformity, Fashion and Fun

Conformity, fashion and fun,
But what does a wide brim suggest?
A hat for some fun in the sun,
A straw hat is always the best.

A hat worn to church can say more
("Conformity, live by the rules,")
Than one that is left by a door
At a party that is for fools.

Fashion can change ev'ry day.
There's women who are of high style
And a fascinator could say,
"I won this hat race by a mile."

What about the Easter bonnet?
Should it not be in this sonnet?

What does your hat state?
