Sonnets About St. Patrick's Day: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day, March seventeenth each year,
Holiday for all the Irish nation.
Memories of years past may bring a tear;
Cultural-religious celebration.

Saint Patrick's Day feast, a time to enjoy;
The luck of the Irish, definitely.
No Lenten rules for any girl and boy;
A four leaf clover, learn the Trinity.

Wearing of the green, color of the day;
Festivals and music, Irish folk lore,
Green beer or whiskey, lots to give away;
The excited crowd simply wants some more.

Oh, to be Irish, yes, we all can be;
Saint Patrick's Day, enjoy the reverie.

Everyone can be Irish on Saint Patrick's Day.
