Pollen count is high with allergies raging,
With sneezing, wheezing, the order of the day,
As spring is here, with yet more symptoms staging,
But, no one really wants spring to stay away.
Perhaps spring allergies seem to be a norm,
Sometimes, more of a nuisance than anything,
Even expected, depending on its form.
Blossoming trees and flowers, joy will still bring.
Allergy shots can be an option. Who knows
Which pollen one may be able to resist,
Why tree and flowers suddenly act like foes.
"Treat me, doctor!" those afflicted may insist.
Allergy tests may give the answer they seek,
When spring pollen appears to be at its peek.
Everyone still loves spring, even when it
means a high pollen count and allergies.
