Saving Money: Man is Not a Slave to Money

Saving money, the name of the game,
To some extent, we all do the same.
How much to spend and how much to save?
Man, to his money, is not a slave.

To scrounge and save, man argues is best.
How much to save is the final test.
Obsessed by saving money each day
May not allow room for him to play.

To save it all does not let one live
Nor does it allow the room to give.
A happy medium man must find
Not risking being left in a bind.

To save it means save and not to spend;
But there may be times when man can bend.
Acts of random kindness often can
Reflect what his money means to man.

It seems that when man gives some away,
Savings will increase every day.
One tenth of what man earns, most can save.
There's nothing follows him to his grave.

Saving money, somewhat tongue in cheek,
Man saves but of it, he does not speak.
And thus, many things may go unsaid
Until later, when a will is read.

Saving money is wise all the time;
But not fun, like poetry and rhyme.
With poetry and rhyme, you can play,
Earning money to save day by day. 

Saving money is wise unless it becomes an obsession. Earning extra money to save is a good idea too.
